Hello one and all! The name is Ma and I am a new writer for GM4A! It's very exciting to be a part of a blog where I can write about one of my favorite things, Video Game Music.
For all of you who don't know me (which is a lot lol), I'm a gamer who is in love with the Final Fantasy series. Seriously, If it's Final Fantasy you have my attention. Which leads into what I will most likely blog about in the near future. The one thing I love about the Final Fantasy series is the music. Nobuo Uematsu is my hero and if I were to ever meet the man my life would be complete. For those who don't know who Nobuo Uematsu is (shame on you for not knowing so), he is the composer for the Final Fantasy series as well as other games like Blue Dragon. His music literally sets the mood and gives life to the games. The one thing I have discovered on why I loved his music so much is that it's orchestrated. Flutes, violins, cellos, and pianos are my favorite sounds next to techno/electronica. My next blog entry will be about the UM Gamer Symphony because they are awesome!
