Andy Frenchtoast's Legend of Zelda remix and short film Hortensis

Brooklyn-based hip hop producer Andy Frenchtoast along with the rest of the ONGK (Overly Nostalgic Gamer Kids) crew have created a simple but effective short film. The YouTube video features music from Andy Frenchtoast's new album, Jeux d'esprit.

The song takes a lonely journey through what I assume is the neighborhood of the ONGK collective. The film contains no dialogue, simply Frenchtoast's  dreamlike remix of the fairy fountain music from The Legend of Zelda series. The video itself portrays a simple, but lonely day for Osiris Lopez, who plays the sole character in the video. The ending isn't amazing, but is certainly easy to relate to, especially for younger kids of this generation.

I will soon be doing a post on Frenchtoast's full album of laid back hip hop instrumentals, but will say that you must download Jeux d'esprit if you need a relaxing and cool album to get you through the intense August heat.
