The Oregon Trail, composed by Nicolas Dubé, getting limited edition Vinyl release from Decca Records, available for pre-order

Gameloft, developers of the successor to classic PC game Oregon Trail, has teamed up with Decca Records to release not one, but two vinyl editions of the games soundtrack, composed by Nicolas Dubé. The editions will be separated into an online version, and in store version of the vinyl.

The online version is available to order now via the Gameloft pre-order page for The Oregon Trail. This version is called the Oregon Sunset, and will be a pressed purple vinyl record.

The second version will be pressed to green vinyl, and known as the Green Screen. This transparent green edition vinyl will be available exclusively at participating indie record stores. I hope that includes my favorite local independent record store, the Rat Nest out in Chino, CA. I also just needed a way to plug this cool local shop..
